Fight Obesity 2.0
1 Gold Medal in ITEX 2015
Working with the Dean of Faculty of Art, Computing & Creative Industry, the game production team in UERL created a mobile game-based treatment game that won a Gold Medal in the International Invention, Innovation & Technology Exhibition (ITEX). The project is a part of DR Wang Yanzhen's PhD. This achievement is a result of collaborative effort between Dr. Maizatul Hayati Mohamed Yatim, Dr. Tan Wee Hoe, DR. Wang Yanzhen, Lee Ying Xuan, Tan Si Yuan, Gan Kian Choon and Mim Murny Nor Azman.

TRIZzle (TRIZ Puzzle)
1 Gold Medal in ITEX 2014
Dr. Tan Wee Hoe, the Deputy Director I of UERL won a Gold Medal in the International Invention, Innovation & Technology Exhibition (ITEX) through a research project he co-leads with Dr. Nurul Fazmidar from Universiti Malaya, titled 'TRIZzle: Learning Theory of Inventive Problem Solving throug a Mobile Puzzle Game". Through this research, the world first TRIZ puzzle mobile game "TRIZzle" was created. This achievement is a result of collaborative effort between Dr. Tan, Dr. Nurul Fazmidar Mohd Noor, DR. Wang Yanzhen, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmad Zamzuri Mohamad Ali, Yeong Kok Han, Wong Luhuei and Liew Chun Han.

1 Gold Medal in ITEX 2014
Prof. Dato' Dr. Noraini Idris, the Deputy Vice Chansellor (Research and Innovation) has won a Gold Medal in the International Invention, Innovation & Technology Exhibition (ITEX) through a research project she leads entitled 'Teaching and Learning Using TI-Nspire CX". Through this research, a module of teaching and learning was created which invents a unique strategy in inculcating higher order thinking skills in learning mathematics using the latest technology, i.e. TI-Nspire CX graphing calculator, for secondary, matriculation and diploma students.This achievement is a result of collaborative effort between Dr. Nor’ain Binti Mohd. Tajudin (Deputy Director III of UERL), Pn. Raja Lailatul Zuraida Binti Raja Maamor Shah, Dr. Leong Kwan Eu,, Dr. Suzieleez Syrene Abdul Rahim, Mr. Mohd Hafiszudin Bin Ab Samad and Miss Mary Ann Serdina Parrot.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahamd Zamzuri Mohd Ali, UERL Fellow won a Gold Medal in the International Invention, Innovation & Technology Exhibition (ITEX) through the e-Science research project he leads, titled 'InterViz: Hardware-Software Interfacing Visualizer. His team members are Siti Rosminah Md Derus and Dr. Che Zalina Zulkifli.

1 Silver Medal in Edu-InERI 2013
Dr. Tan Wee Hoe, the Deputy Director I of UERL won a Gold Medal in the International Conference & Exposition on Invention of Institutions of Higher Learning (Pecipta'13) and a Silver Medal in the International Exposition of Research and Innovation in Education 2013 (Edu-InERI2013) through a research project he leads, titled 'Creating a drug abuse prevention game for Malaysian teenagers: An innovative primary prevention approach'. Through this research, the world first Malay anti-drug abuse prevention mobile game "Fight For Future 2.0" was created. This achievement is a result of collaborative effort between Dr. Tan, Dr. Mohd Muzafar Shah b. Mohd Razali, Dr. Aslina bt. Ahmad, Muhammad Syauqi b. Muhammad Sophie, Emy Nazira bt. Embong, Siti Hajar bt. Aliyais, Siti Thalathiah bt. Che Pa, Yeong Wai Meng, Kau Kean Pin and Wong Luhuei.
Mandarin Communication Learning App
1 Silver Medal - PECIPTA'13
Dr. Lin Chia Ying, a Chinese language teacher trainer from UPSI cooperated with Dr. Tan Wee Hoe to create the "App Pembelajaran Komunikasi Mandarin" or Mandarin Comunication Learning App for Malay adult learners. This app won a Silver Medal in the International Conference & Exposition on Invention of Institutions of Higher Learning (Pecipta'13). The production includes DR. Wang Yanzhen, Desmond Wong Tac Sen, Alan Yew, Chiang Zi Jun and Ang Jieh Shir.
